When guitarist “Fast” Eddie Clarke left Motörhead in 1982 and formed Fastway, a lynchpin of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal was born. The group recorded three acclaimed albums for Columbia before producer Dino DeLaurentis hired them to compose the soundtrack for his 1986 heavy metal horror film Trick or Treat (which, if you haven’t seen you should—it’s a hoot, with appearances by Ozzy Osbourne and Gene Simmons)!
