GOLDMINE FALL 2025 ISSUE FEATURING SEX PISTOLS + FRANK CARTER ON THE COVER
“Well, I think there’s a combination of things,” says Sex Pistols leader/guitarist Steve Jones when Goldmine asked why people are still so excited about the Pistols. “ I mean, it just doesn’t stop ... Breaking up when we could have gone on to be a lot bigger. And [then] we’ve done reunions; ’96 was the first one, 20 years after we broke up. We did like 70 shows there or something. So, it just keeps going.”
Jones gives all his opinions on the past and the future. To him, the legacy of the Pistols will carry on, and frontman Frank Carter is now the booster shot to spread that message!
